Quickly establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in wildlife art, his works won the wildlife art award from the Arts for the Parks competition in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 1994, 1996, and 1997. Luke has been the subject in featured articles in Southwest Art Magazine, Sporting Classics, Gray's Sporting Journal and Field and Stream.
